Although the members on this website will enable you to find a new home for most of your unwanted items, there will be occasions when they are not able to help.

However, there are plenty of other ways of finding them a new home. There are a number of sites providing a facility allowing you to give away items you no longer need to anybody who wants them.

There is also an e-mail service, Freecycle which is very effective at recycling all manner of items.     

And, whilst we wouldn't normally encourage the setting up of competing services as this tends to fragment the concept, we do think that  EcoBees adds a few extra facilities to the Freecycle service.
